Mustard Festival For 13 years now, the brilliance of mustard in Napa Valley has created a tourist attraction almost parallel to the Napa Valley Vineyards, Wine Making and Wine. The brilliant swaths of yellow are left over from days of the California Mission Trail when missionaries were thought to have sprinkled mustard seeds between missions to find their way in the spring growth after winter. Today the mustard festival includes art, wine, and food with the Napa Valley Mustard Festival culminating in the mustard photography contest photo finish at the Mumms Champagnery,

The Hess Collection
The Hess Collection of paintings and sculptures by contemporary European and American artists represents a small portion of the artwork acquired over the past 30 years by winery founder Donald Hess. The unique exhibition brings together an encompassing display of the vivid, powerful and thought-provoking works produced on the two continents since 1960.

The Hess Collection extends a warm invitation for you to visit our tasting room, galleries and the garden in full summer bloom. The walk up the path to the Visitors Center at The Hess Collection takes you past the reflecting pond where the water lilies are burgeoning. Inside the thick cool stone walls of the original turn of the century winery are the galleries and tasting room, where our current releases are available for tasting. Come to Mt Veeder for the cool mountain breezes and wonderful wines.

The Visitors Center is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please click on Tasting Room for further details or contact us at 707- 255-1144 ext. 237.

Cornerstone Place
Since opening in 2004, Cornerstone Gardens have enjoyed international attention, heralded as a garden attraction unlike any other in North America. The imaginative and unusual setting attracted retailers and producers with a true appreciation for the environment in which they choose to operate - and in the summer of 2008 the site was renamed Cornerstone Place, incorporating an eclectic collection of shops and wine tasting rooms, as well as a café and marketplace skirting nine-acres of artfully designed gardens and private event spaces.

Cornerstoneplace hours 10:00 am to 5:00 pm (Gardens close at 4:00 pm). *note: On weekends the gardens may close as early as 3:00 pm for special events, it is recommended to call ahead for specific garden hours.

Cornerstone Place invites visitors to discover, imagine, explore and escape the everyday.

For docent-guided garden tours of the gardens and information regarding private events contact the Cornerstone Place administrative offices at 707.933.3010 www.cornerstoneplace.com.

Clos Pegase Winery

Just down the road from the town of Calistoga, there is a crossroads. It's the intersection of wine and art. And at that crossroads, you'll find something rare and remarkable: balance. You'll find serious, passionate estate-grown winemaking balanced with an open-hearted spirit of sharing and celebration. You'll find great works of art living in harmony with the earthy simplicity of the soil and the vine. You'll find a majestic temple that's somehow both awe-inspiring and welcoming. Wine that offers both true varietal intensity and food-friendly approachability. You'll find a place that captures the spirit of Bacchus: equal parts divine and joyfully down-to-earth. Look for the crossroads, and there, you'll find Clos Pegase.

"We love visitors. And we invite you to experience firsthand how our unique combination of wine, art and architecture can make your visit to the wine country truly memorable."
